It's not clear here or on JAST BLUE's site so I thought I'd write this up quick - especially if you haven't played this before, the lack of spicey text can make the script a little... off? Weird? at points? IMHO.

JAST BLUE hasn't put the patch on their main Sweet Pool page so here: https://jastusa.com/sweet-pool-dlc

To patch:
0. Buy it, DL the folder, unzip the files, look at ReadMe!
1. Go to your Steam game interface, open up Sweet Pool's tag and click on Game Files - it'll open up the folder on your local drive with the files you need
2. Copy over script.npk and system.npk - these two will prompt you to overwrite files that already exist in the Steam game folder - YES! OVERWRITE THEM! These are the uncensored versions.
3. Also copy over the folder labeled "Patch" with the file labeled "_base.npk" inside. Leave it as is, a folder containing a file - the configuration is important.
4. You're done - launch and make sure everything starts okay.
5. Have fun playing an even more uncensored game!

NOTE: if you have any saves previous to this - they will go away. I don't know how to prevent this. So... do the patch before you start playing or resign yourself to starting over.

NOTE: JAST Blue updated the Steam DL Patch on 12/20 to "fix reported issues" and if you've purchased it, you should be able to go back to your purchase and re-download the new copy of the patch. Follow the same steps as above to make sure you've got all the changes.

PROBLEMS:
1. Have uncensored images and text but NO SOUND.
A: Old Patch - re-download patch at above link and follow steps above to overwrite and reinstall.

2. Have only text but black background, NO SOUND OR IMAGES.
A: Followed my old, bad steps with errors. Make sure you have most current patch and follow current steps above to have correct file configuration and relaunch.

I have noticed that while the content has been restored, the sound effects have not - I don't know if that is what would be included in the "_base" file, since the "voice" + "sound" files are about the size of the "base" file together. It is frustrating, to say the least. Anyone with more experience with this, advice would be great!

Hi, I copied over the files to the game directory and for some reason, it's still censored. Unless for some reason the scene in the chemistry room was cut? It goes completely black when I play it. Any idea what could've gone wrong?

Same, but it faded to black during the bath scene close to the beginning of the game-
Pretty sure there's some 18+ content in the scene where Youji is taking a bath and notices blood in the water.

UPDATE: I contacted JAST on Facebook about the issue. Hopefully they'll respond soon.

Just in case anyone was still having this issue, the fix is pretty simple. Instead of pasting the files in just copy and paste script.npk and system.npk directly into the folder ALONG WITH the folder titled Patch. Copying _base.npk outside of the Patch folder fails to unlock the 18+ content.
There's also an updated copy of the patch file as the original unlocked the images but not the sound.

Hi there. I was having the same problem. My CG's were black and sometimes it skipped completely. Thanks to rabes.xo I fixed it. You just have to copy the folder "patch" and paste inside your game's folder. Also copy and paste the files script.npk and system.npk inside your game's folder also. That worked for me. If you still have problem you should reinstall the game and make this process again and that will work.

No, it is only that JustUsa changed their site system, so just search for the "sweet pool steam".

This is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone knows that Steam is worthless when it comes to BL games, but the creator should make a full version avaliable (so we can just buy from the creator, with no need for a censored platform). Nobody with any amount of self respect would get a game that is not ready to play, specially a long one.
