Saving game causes crash to desktop

Hi, I ran into an issue where my game crashes to desktop any time I try to save my game in the default save folder (Batallas). If I change this to the parent folder, I can save and load games just fine. Just wanted to point out this issue and workaround. Really liking the game so far.

EDIT: It looks like trying to save over an old save file causes a crash-to-desktop as well. I also experienced a crash-to-menu when I clicked "No" on the "Do you want to save?" prompt at the end of my turn. Really enjoying this game but the save function seems utterly broken...
