This topic has a fair few mods including their evolution, ensure to read when installing, as with DP some mods can conflict or if not installed proper wont always work as intended.

The user DarkHawk in that thread has(had?) a discord which he worked heavily on modding Gal Gun, he was very skilled, most his mods are the best around, not sure if he is still in the community or not but his work was pretty good so try looking for his name (in that link he is pretty early up poster).
