Is this really the VR game from No Game No Life?

Seriously this looks like an exact rip off of the game they play at the end of S1 of No Game No Life.

Gal Gun has been around for some time, are you sure the game shown in No Game no Life isn't a rip off from this? Sure Gal Gun 2 isn't as old as No Game no Life but the earlier games in the series are a fair few years old.
PS - i admit i haven't seen no game no life but if its anything of a background thing, it could be a collab between the companies, its not uncommon to see games in TV. Timeplitters (one of my favourite games of all times) appears in Shaun of The Dead, it doesn't mean the movie ripped it off in anyway.

As said, not seen no game no life so can't say for sure.

NGNL manga came out in '12 and was adopted to Anime in '14. I don't know if this is on purpose but it's very VERY similar to the final game they play in the first series arc.

Gal Gun 1 came out in 2011. The light novel came out in 2012. In No Game No Life, they directly reference Gal Gun "Isn't this just G-bleep-l Gun?" (translated of course)

NGNL made a reference to Gal Gun, with Sora's exact words
"Is this Gal Gun?"

Obviously stating that Gal Gun came first AND references to games and other anime happen ALOT often in anime...You must be new to anime if you truly thought that.
