Does anyone know what this does? It's around 2-300 mb, The main menu lists it as version 2.12.

"Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2 have released Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot update 2.12 on consoles and PC, which players on current-gen will see as DBZ: Kakarot download version 1.020.020.

This should bring the Daima DLC data, though it won’t be accessible just yet. The DLC was announced in October 2024 and, as one might expect, brings the Daima storyline into the game. However, Bandai Namco has not confirmed this, though that’s the logical explanation."

Well, Daima is ending this week, so I guess the game was due to some content.

Yes that's available, but the first content pack isn't available until July - Sept. Weird they released it this early. It's basically a pre-order.

The update didn't add the missing "next gen" graphics, so who knows...

No one knows, there's no content out yet. Apart from the bonus pack, which is basically just items.

Daima hasn't finished its 1st season in Japan, finale is on 2/28. English dub should be ending about late May. Then they may still need to complete performance capture/recording after each region's run has completed. Release starting in July makes sense to me.

No, it's a commemorative series for the 40th anniversary of the franchise it will only have 20 episodes.
