It doesn't mean "All Future Forever Till the End of Time".
Also remember the content inside of this season pass is worth 3 story arcs and not boss battle episodes like the one before.
With season pass 2 you will get 3 story arc/episodes instead of 1 that we got with season pass 1.
The Season Pass 2 is different and falls outside that promise.
Really hate that I'm using this word but stop acting so entitled.
You shouldn't be surprised by this, and Season 2 will be worth the price once they roll out the rest of the DLC packs
it means what ever they implied at the time. are you awARE that one word can mean multiple things. they have slowly changed the definition of what season meant to steam over the last decade. and of course not forever only for as long as they decided to keep adding content to said game until the released another newer title
Agreed. There was a time when Season Pass meant "for the life of the game", or at least until a GOTY, or Ultimate Edition was released years down the line.
Sadly, the meaning has been Ubisofted, so now it's a literal season.
Most devs are tying to make a subtle transition to subscription-based gaming (games as a service model).
So prepare for even less-polished games, more cosmetic in-game trinkets, and more loot-boxes, and most importantly prepare to spend even more $.
At least with Bandai, they are specific about what is included in the Season Passes, a lot of other companies aren't.
Season passes exceeding the first pass only can be found in a few games, namely fighters. (I.E soul caliber, tekken, street fighter, mortal combat, DB fighter Z, smash bros etc.) Borderlands 3...which for all of you arguing and saying this post is "entitled"....borderlands 1 and 2 only have ONE season pass that actually got you ALL the future DLC. Hunter call of the wild did a second pass, Ark, GTA V, and rainbow six siege also ended with a second season pass.
As far as quick researching goes, that's the list of games that did a second season pass. I'm sure there are a few more, but those listed are still MULTIPLAYER games. MULTIPLAYER games with actual RANKED SEASONS.
So how am I entitled? My single player game with no literal competitive or even in game seasons just got a second season pass, whereas in the past one pass got you it all.
If you support the modern implementation of this practice you are part of the problem.
@Jumpinjas, The good old days I guess. GOTY and Season passes were originally meant to alleviate this very issue, but naturally when you can make more money as a business....so on so forth.
you get exactly what was written. They NEVER stated you'd get all the future dlcs.
Maybe you should have read the description of the original Season Pass before making a garbage topic.
What he said. There is no discussion, you're just crying about a developer trying to sell a product that you think you deserve for free even though it wasn't included in the original agreement you purchased. Full stop.
There is nothing to discuss or add.
Maybe don't be a bigot, and look it up yourselves.
