Yea, that's slow, it takes too long to get from one place to another, even with the aura. That speed does not increases? It took me 1 hours just to explore the demo's map, and the map was pretty small with nothing to explore.
The exploration doesn't seem slow to me since everything is marked on the map and you can reach your destination in a few seconds. You can find all the 7 dragon balls in 10-15 minutes and they're scattered all around the world, not just 1 map.
Anyway no, you can't fly faster than that even when you're max level (300).
PS: I wouldn't worry too much about exploring at first (All it really does is give you small amounts of XP and D Medals) if you focus on getting through the storyline and open the Z Encyclopedia a little after the Sayain Saga you'll be rewarded with plenty of D Medals anyways.
Yea, that's sort of garbage lol. Look at how fast characters fly around the world map in Xenoverse 2, in here they're in turtle mode, Z Fighters aren't this slow in the anime neither.
In this one game, they made them fly slow to make the map look huge, but it's pretty damn small and unlike Xenoverse 2 the battle in here is just mashing buttons.
I'm out, thanks for the feedback guys.
Maybe I'm getting an even "worse" experience, because my PC can't run at exactly 60FPS. I'm probably getting between 51~55 fps
The speed is "slow" because they want you to see that you are flying over the ENTIRE Earth and that takes time. We can argue the anti realism in size of the people and how many there are and such but hey its a video game.
I wasn't talking about realism. In the anime they fly hella faster, specially in later seasons it only takes them a second to arrive where they want. It's kind'a unfair you're stuck to the same speed throughout the entire game, considering it goes up to buu saga.
Since the game aims to be as faithful as possible to the manga, even more than the show itself, it makes sense that they should fly way faster as the story goes on. Still, there's no way you spend an hour flying in a single map unless you're collecting orbs (which is plain useless) o looking for something (but everything can be found in a matter of minutes, even the dragonballs). So it's kinda "unrealistic" that they don't get faster, but the game itself is not "slow".
Then we could argue that all fights should last less than a second in real life time. For instance on Namek there was 5 minutes left till the planet blew up, that turned into real time 4 hours I believe.
