1. **Verify Windows Display Settings**: Ensure your desktop resolution is set to 3840x2160 (4K). The game cannot exceed the resolution set in your operating system.
2. **Adjust In-Game Internal Resolution**: Within the game's settings, locate the "Internal Rendering Resolution" option. Set it to 200% to achieve 4K rendering. This setting scales the game's rendering resolution relative to your current display resolution.
3. **Disable In-Game V-Sync**: If you're using fullscreen mode, disable V-Sync in the game's settings. The in-game V-Sync can cap the frame rate at 30 FPS in fullscreen mode. After disabling it, you can force V-Sync through your graphics card's control panel to maintain smooth gameplay.
4. **Configure Graphics Card Settings**:
- **For NVIDIA Users**:
- Right-click on your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel."
- Navigate to "Manage 3D Settings" and go to the "Program Settings" tab.
- Add "DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT\AT\Binaries\Win64\AT-Win64-Shipping.exe" to the list.
- Set "Vertical Sync" to "On" to enforce V-Sync through the driver.
- **For AMD Users**:
- Open "AMD Radeon Settings."
- Go to the "Gaming" tab and add the game's executable.
- Set "Wait for Vertical Refresh" to "Always On."
5. **Use Borderless Window Mode**: Some players have found that using borderless window mode allows the game to run at 60 FPS with V-Sync enabled. However, if the game appears in a small window in the top-left corner, this indicates a problem with how the game is handling borderless mode. In such cases, using third-party applications like "Borderless Gaming" can help, but as you've experienced, it may not be a permanent solution.
6. **Disconnect Secondary Monitors**: If you're using multiple monitors, try disconnecting the secondary ones. The game sometimes has issues detecting the maximum resolution when multiple displays are connected.
7. **Enable Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) in NVIDIA Control Panel**:
- Open "NVIDIA Control Panel."
- Navigate to "Manage 3D Settings" and find the "DSR - Factors" setting.
- Enable 2.00x and 4.00x factors to allow higher resolutions to be selectable in-game.
8. **Restart the Game**: After applying these changes, restart the game to ensure the new settings take effect.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to the game's support community or forums for additional assistance, as other players may have encountered and solved similar problems.

2. **Adjust In-Game Internal Resolution**: It can not be set to 4k
3. **Disable In-Game V-Sync**: I keep Vsync off
4. **Configure Graphics Card Settings**: this isn't necessary
5. **Use Borderless Window Mode**: If you've read my post you'll know it makes a borderless window stuck at the top left of my screen.
6. **Disconnect Secondary Monitors**: No. I will not disconnect other monitors. There are built-in calls to easily fetch monitor count, sizes, etc... It is super easy to simply grab the primary monitor details and use that. Alternatively, in borderless windowed mode it is easy to stretch it to the size of the current monitor it is on instead of fixing it to the top left of the monitor in a super small size.
7. **Enable Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) in NVIDIA Control Panel**: This is something completely different.
8. **Restart the Game**: I've done that multiple times.

The biggest issue making the game unplayable was that moving the mouse 1 inch caused me to spin in circles. Being unable to reduce the camera sensitivity below 1 made it 100% unplayable.
