Too many enemies
Literally all I want to do is explore the Z-Universe. Let me explore! Why does the game have to go DUURRRRR HE HAV NO ENEMI IN 3 SECUNDS RENDOM ANCOUNTER!!!!!111

Literally I spend more time turning on boost dash mode and plowing through enemies in one go than I do actually trying to gather materials (While also looking for D-Medals).

Literally one tiny island in the same area of Kame House had like 4 enemies surrounding it, and as I defeated them they'd respawn. People say "just don't fly" except I still get a ton of encounters using a normal walk (Not even the ground dash) and the platforming is so horrible that flying is practically required to play.

I shouldn't have to download a mod that completely disables combat in an Action RPG just to avoid a tiresome, annoying problem. How does an action game make fights so tedious?

The random encounters are part of an RPG, sometimes more, sometimes less.
It gets annoying sometimes, but I haven't had reasons to complain.
I was just plowing through the groups and so on.

On some parts of the game it is intended to give you more encounters, due to gathering orbs to lvlup.
It was not tiresome or annoying and not a problem at all, and even if I got into combat, the fights were over in seconds, sometimes in an instant by using certain special attacks.
Maybe you are in such a state right now, then normally it is completely comfortable, how many encounters are happening. I didn't see anyone complain about something like that - except you of course.
Or maybe it is just you? It is no common complaint (at this game) so far and that makes this kind of content totally normal. 🤔

It's better for travel rather than exploring, but if you fly at the 'ceiling' where the game tells you that you are too high and before you transit to the world map, you can usually fly around uninterrupted.

The amount of random encounters in this game is comparable to Mother 1 (The original unpatched version).

The primary annoyance of this is that I just want to explore areas. I don't want to dash to an island only to have 6 enemies all rushing up to me, spin my stick a million times until they catch up and die, then have more enemies rush towards me.

Why not have them control how many enemies are in an area by how many Frieza Ships and RR Army Bases are on the map at that time? If I destroy all of them, I should get way less enemy encounters, and yet somehow enemies respawn like all hell broke loose even after their own bases are destroyed.

You're right, it helps more for travel than exploring. I just don't want to have 500 enemies attack me when I'm doing a normal walk on an Island trying to see if a D-Medal is on said island.

Enemy encounters severely mess with my perspective and I forget which parts of the island I checked easily by the time I'm done with enemies.

I understand what you mean.
You are getting annoyed while you try to EXPLORE.

There is no mod for fewer encounters BUT - There are Programs called "Trainer".
One of their options is "Stealth Mode".
Never used it, but if the description is right, enemies won't attack you while this option is on.
You won't attract them, so you can take all the time you want.
Sadly, you have to google yourself, because I am not allowed to put in a Link here with a connection to a trainer-webside.
(I am also not sure if using Trainer in an offline-game could be considered "cheating"? Not sure about that.)

But then again: I never felt annoyed about the encounters while EXPLORING. I could do everything without being annoyed.

And I got the platin trophy within 60 hours of playtime, and I was never really annoyed.
Maybe you really are just more sensitive to that kind of "annoyance".
There are many people who want MORE encounters or harder enemies, since the fights are too easy for them or too short, but only a few says, there is too much.
That's not a criticism, just an objective view on those things.

I guess, you just have to bear with it. BN won't do anything about the encounters, since there are only a few (or even less) who are complaining about THAT.

If the enemies were more sparse, but harder, that would be better yes. I know about the trainer app, which is why I said I shouldn't have to mod it and remove the entire combat mechanic from the game.

I understand you hayatemaru, i just quit from the game because its dumb and ridiculous, the amount of random battles is totally insane, its a shame because the game is ok but its unplayable, for almost every normal person.

Yeah I think the reason people "aren't complaining" is because they figure it won't get fixed and don't waste their time.

This really is like Mother 1 though. Take one step, battle. Take a second step, battle. Take a third step, you're safe. Take another step, battle. Each one gives you next to no EXP as "justification" for the amount of enemies.

I agree - except one thing.
"unplayable" is not the right word, since it IS playble. But yes, they made it bad for explorers who want to explore everything without getting interrupted. Guess, the game is no good for that thing.
Sad, that's right, but not "unplayable".

Hey guys, a little trick for you: if you will fly at max speed you can defeat enemies by just flying though. I do it all the time

so if you know about this feature, why do you "waste time"? You just press one button and fly wherever you want, no problems, I cant get what are you complaining about

No, I press one button and spin my stick 500 times before the enemy actually collides with me. And this happens for multiples of enemies, a minimum of 6 per small area. How does that not waste time?
