Should I buy this or wait for Sparking zero

I plan to buy sparking zero regardless But i haven't played DB in a hot minute. Should I bother buying this? I kinda don't wanna go through all the sagas only for me to play it again in sparking zero

If I'm gonna be brief, one is an actual single player adventure while the other is an arena fighter with a story mode. Both excel at different things.

Kakarot is a single-player open-world game that is entirely story-based. Sparking Zero is a multi-player arena-battler.

It's like asking if you should play Spider-Man PS4 or Marvel vs Capcom.. play both.

If budget is an issue, this one goes on sale whenever. Sparking Zero won't be going on sale until at least December, and that's not likely either.

Sparking zero is an online game made to play pvp in online mode, yes it has storymode but a very short one that skips a lot of fights and is like a minigame inside sparking zero.
Kakarot is a rpg that does not skip any fights and has the full dbz from raditz to kid buu but is filled with stupid side quests like fighting original dragon ball robots all throught the world and the combat is stale.

Sparking zeros combat is insane and very complex with lots of different combos, every 180 character has its own move set they even strike at different speeds, and the special attacks look spectacular. art desing in sparking zero is SUPERB. characters look even better than in the anime or manga. That said kakarots character design is much worse. I would advise to buy sparking zero.

Two completely different games tbh....Sparkling zero is more for fighting game fans imo...if you just want to casually enjoy big flashy dbz explosions kakarot is the game.

I'm playing both at the same time and am having an awesome time. Take that as you will.

I'd say get Sparking Zero if you want loads of fighting with lots of fun optional fights, tons of characters/outfits to unlock, and loads upon loads of transformations to mess around with.

Get Kakarot if you wanna play through the story you know and love deeply, with some light exploration and low stakes optional sidequests with classic DB and DBZ characters.

Combat is better in Sparking. Feeling like you're in the Dragon Ball world is more effectively done in Kakarot. Both amazing games for DB fans.

If I had to judge which you'd like more based off of your Fable 1 picture, you already know you should get the singleplayer RPG called Kakarot. I am playing through Kakarot now and I'm enjoying it. About as much as Fable, in fact!

sparking zero has better combat but i like kakarot better because of the immersive story and boss battles. People say get sparking zero for online but if you played any of the earlier budakai games you would know online will be heavily unbalanced and people will just rage.
