Kakarot was already a phenomenally optimized game. The fact it works as well as it does is just a result of the perfectly executed production from the beginning. I don't have the game on Switch but apparently it works perfectly well there without any sacrifices, and the steam deck is a slightly beefier machine.

So when it says "unsupported" that generally only means no effort has been made on either side of things to specifically make the game work on steam deck. The game was just already so optimized that no one had to do anything.

dude dont run it at 60. slap it to 40. it still looks and feels amazing. and wont drain your battery like crazy.

it just means they havent tested it yet... im sure... or the tester played it and sucked at his job.
this is why i feel like the devs should tell us how it plays not valves beta testers.
some games they already say wont run. but i played tons of em by now and a lot feel GREAT. i bought this game when it just came out just never got to it.
and im glad i didnt. because now i have something to play on my deck. and i already have 60 hours into it. just done cell saga. and i still got buu trunks and 2 more dlc?
touched trunks one feels a bit weird but people say its 4+ hours.

I use the proton by default , proton experimental

Please cna someone tell me why I cannot even launch the game? It pops up an error message:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 4119]
Corrupted index in pak file (CRC mismatch).

Does anyone knows how to fix it?

On steamdeck ? Do you have change something ? Do you use proton experimental ?

yeah it does just set it to 40hz 40fps and you are solid. game looks and plays amazing. like i said i played the entire game start to finish only had 2 crashes. but im sure that was my bad. i refused to update my software when i first played.

I just played on my deck for two days, uploaded the saves to the cloud, loaded the game on PC, saw the PC still had the old saves from two days ago so I turned it off without loading anything.... It loaded those saves to the cloud... I then immediately loaded the game on my deck without letting it update the saves.... well, looks like it wiped the two damn days of gameplay from my saves.... I'm done with this cloud ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥....
