Settings for PC not saving after every reload

So I have played over 100hrs but it is still annoying everytime I go to play the game i have to change the settings to keyboard and mouse and switch the 3 and 4 key because it 1,2,4,3 on my Super attack list. Just wondering if they are going to fix it or just leave it be. Or if their is a solution to this issue.

Well considering you're the only person I've ever seen speak up about an issue like this it's unfortunate to say that they may not fix it, and don't worry I have this issue too.

my key binds save but yes every single time i have to change to kb+m button map. super annoying. there has to be a saved variable folder somewhere. ive been looking but cant find it. would be easy to open, edit in notepad, and save

Well i'm glad some people replied. I might dive into the files and maybe look up some videos if there is a way to fix it myself thanks Jimjon for that suggestion

i have no idea how to play this game with keyboard and where i could change it (i tried the options but i dont know which button to press to scroll through the pages), it just shows the xbox controls from me from start up so i hardly can get passed the main menu, let alone survive the first piccolo fight - the key bindings are really weird...

i dont even have an xbox controller so no idea why the game is doing this.

I have the same issue. Every time game loads it defaults to controller settings and ui instead of keyboard.. Quite annoying if like me you prefer mouse + keyboard vs controller. And you can't save settings - always returns to default on game load.

Please fix it, quite simple really..

This is definitely to be fixed. Preferences can't be loaded each and everytime.

Another options saved, but only this icon display unsaved, mine also always rerurn to "Type B" by default

They need to fix it it's literally annoying to change the settings everytime you enter the game

It's because the game is optimized for console. Keyboard and mouse functions are / were an after thought. It's annoying, especially when you are trying to do mini games, like fishing, where knowing which 'key' to press is essential, but the screen will always show controller commands by default, after every single game launch.

There is no way to fix this, aside from perhaps a mod, but if one exists, I dont know of it.
