You unlocked transformations as skills as the story progress. But in fights in which the character was transformed (like SSJ Goku v Frieze) you start as SSJ. If you transform using the skill it will drain your ki over time but will give you strength boost.
The transformations available in the game are Kaioken, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, Super Vegeta, Full potential Gohan, Super Namekian (I don't remember how it was really called in the game, it's after fusing with Kami)
this game doesn't cover the fillers. So no Filler arc that happened after Frieza story.
only filler part that has been taking was the episode of Goku learning to drive cars. you can build vehicles adn race with them which is fairly fun.
so you get DBZ base story beginning with the arrival of Raditz. Then you get Frieza arc on Namek. Then you get the robot/cell saga. After that intermission you go to the Majin Buu saga. then its getting all the extra content done awaiting the two promised DLC's.
the Super arc with Bherus will be added as the first of two DLC's on the 28th or 30th this month. Forgot the exact date. No idea how far into the Super arc we'll get the story though. I bet it goes up to the first tournament and not the "God" tournament that happened last. This DLC is included in the season pass.
From the looks of it the DLC won't follow battle of gods story line exept of the fact you fight Beerus.
Its the entire Dragon Ball Z story, I don't know what part of that sentence is confusing.
