Some of the DLC is a solid 7 or 8/10
More than that, the maps are exquisitely designed, and if you're into Dragon Ball, the locations you visit and people you meet are icons of the series, and they had a grand eye for detail, despite most players flying over it and never noticing. Heck, the newest at this time, DLC 5 restricts you from flying(because it's Dragon Ball OG so they can't), and it really brings the scale of the world to your attention.
The fight can get repetitive, but bosses are always unique experiences, and very well animated, with different attacks and ways of locking down the battlefield. It's just a great time if you're into what it's offering. It's a full RPG, not like Xenoverse, and I think that threw some people off, as they were expecting something more like FighterZ for some reason.
I don't know who decided that cooking and fishing minigames was what we needed in a Dragon Ball Z game but uh, that was the wrong decision, but thankfully stuff like that and the dumb side quests you feed a baby namekian or whatever, all skippable and it's still fairly easy to play through the main story. I didn't feel underleveled when I fought Freeza for example.
If you like Dragon Ball games, you'll like this game, but aside from graphics and animation quality, there's not a lot in this game that other games in this franchise don't do better. If you're like me and think DBZ is too boring and bloated to watch though today, you'll probably enjoy playing though the different sagas, experiencing the major story beats hands on, but they kinda skip through some of the important stuff and rush along any moment that doesn't involve Goku or the other Saiyans. 6/10 is still a good score for a good game, I'd say pick it up on sale.
One does not simply have a 4070ti and 144hz monitor to buy ♥♥♥♥ on consoles. You can literally brute force the graphics to be better through reshade, mods, and engine.ini.
