Oh, the one that still burns me is the PC port of Dynasty Warriors 8.

It had already been re-released on PS4 with improved textures, resolution, vfx, etc, and added stuff the original didn't have like self-shadowing and dof. Looks fantastic. Runs at 5 fps in the burning city map.

PC port they then did, they decided to use the PS3 version. Why? Hell if I know. DW8: Empires then comes out on both PS3 and PS4. PC port is, again, the PS3 version.

But it does make more sense when you know the series director is a egomaniacal Playstation fanboy who openly stated when DW7 released that he hated the fact it was selling better on the Xbox 360 than it was on PS3 and how "disappointed" he was with the players as a result. I think that tweet was up for almost twelve hours before it was deleted.

So yeah, would not surprise me if he was intentionally trying to sabotage the PC version compared to the PS4 version of 8.

Yes, why wouldn't it? I bought a 165 fps monitor with a high end GPU for a reason.

No, it adds a lot of new graphical features like improved draw distances, better foliage and reflective water.

No, there's a few differences if you look at the next gen trailer. Vegetation and water effects are the most noticeable.

These are pretty big differences. Better vegetation, better looking water, reflections in the water...this must come to pc....

Apparently the X-Box Series X didn't get the graphical update either due to technical difficulties delaying it, so it's possible the PC version will still get it later.
