Why is performance so bad in this game?

Did they just do a poor job optimizing it? I've played far more demanding games at much higher graphics settings with no issue but this game....

I have no issues and my Computer wasnt even close to top line when I bought it years ago. If you do have top of the line hardware, or close, that can sometimes cause you issues as odds are they did not really test the game on them, especially if any of your hardware came out after the Game did.

My pc is top of the line and I use windows 11.

So I guess it's a game issue and new hardware not playing nice with it.

It could very well be the issue sadly, plus Windows 11. Not many games currently have been built with Windows 11 in mind, so often it will be a gamble if it works or not. Since the game is still getting support it might get updates to fix any issues with 11 or newer Hardware. If your unable to find a fix you might want to check back when ever they do an update to see if it runs any better. I wish you luck .

it happens with every new version of windows, its because ur on 11

Yeah its the programming of the game, its a console port that was not designed to run on top end rigs

Works fine with windows 10, the only bad performance i have on this game (playing at 2k) is on the Golden Frieza DLC, if you have the escale resolution above 100, the game performs poorly... but the rest of the game with escale resolution at 150, no problems here, estable fps and even the gpu doesn't get hot...

Game runs poorly with native Vsync on, especially noticeable in the menus. Turn it off in-game. Use Nvidia Control Panel or AMD equivalent and add the program (DBZ Kakarot), then turn Vsync on there. I use "Fast" so that it runs smoothly with no tearing.

Other than that, people need to be more specific what the problem is. What framerate at what resolution are you trying to hit, and what are you getting?
