Are dlcs worth it?

Are dlc worth and which should i buy?

I have done Trunks and some Battle of the Gods so I will give my take so far.

Trunk is a separate Mode that is its own thing. No levels or items carry over, just the Community Members. If you like that Story it is well worth it because you get to see some more of that time and the extra moments between Trunk and Gohan are great. I tried playing it during the points in the Story that it would happen making it feel more like it was a part of the game.

Now Battle of Gods so far is a bit odd. I waited until finishing the Story but you can do it at any time because levels and items do carry over. It allows you to basically Power Level by training with Whis to unlock Transformations early for Goku and earn Consumables that give you Exp. If you already unlocked them then he will give you bonus Exp Consumables. I have yet to finish this as I am not high enough level to do the rest.

As for Resurrection of F I have not tried it because I am trying to play everything in order. So thats what I can tell you. Do I like it, over all yes. I would suggest it myself.

When you finish Trunks dlc you get, skills and transformations, back to the main story future trunks. The same happens with the skills and transformations vegeta and goku have with those dlcs, on the main campaign.

I did the Trunks DLC just before before he Arrived in the main game, but passed to finish it until after Trunks left in it. During that time none of the Skills I had learned carried over to Future Trunks in the Main Story. Do you have to finish off Cell for Trunks to get it in the Main Game? Not that you get to use him for long. I was hoping he would be usable again after beating the Story in the Main Game.

Yes you need to beat the buu saga, and on the endgame you get again the Future trunks, and you have a couple of misions with him, is there when you get the skills of the DLC for trunks, but you need to finish both first.
