like Vegeta claiming he's only on Namek to stop Frieza and save the universe (Wrong)
or Launch saying she's both aware of her other safe (Wrong) and lives at Kame House (Only true for original DB.. or was she just in the attic for all of Z, Super, and GT?)
Just finished it now and I'm beyond dissapointed that Future Trunks isn't usable in post-game - which I know makes no sense plot-wise but they could have made up some BS about him coming back for some reason.
Neither are fusions and despite actually playing as him for a few minutes Goten is just a support character.
That being said, I do agree. I was quite disappointed when we didn't get to fight as Trunks vs Cell. It's kind of odd.
I think the Buu saga is better, even though that doesn't show literally everything either, at least it's a bit more consistent so far.
They don't though. They've missed a gigantic scene that was quite dramatic/important. Even a fight.

These two specifically. I'm not too bothered by them not showing a certain kill on screen, but these two fights/scenes were blatantly missing and that did bother me.
I'd argue these two scenes are of narrative value as well. In the first, it quite obviously shows Vegeta's tactical genius by baiting/provoking Cell into taking his attack head on. Cell, being as arrogant as he is thinking he cannot be damaged, gets damaged. They're character moments.
The second one teaches us an arguably even more important detail when it comes to fighting. Buffing muscle mass and buffing your ki does make your raw strength higher, but your speed decreases. Cell literally teaches Trunks this after he boasted how much ''stronger'' he is than Vegeta. Even a line in the game addresses this, that Trunks can't do anything until Vegeta gets knocked out so he won't wound Vegeta's pride.. and then we don't even get to see it at all.
Vegita is no longer left for dead in a pool.
Vegita no longer punches Gohan in the gut.
Frieza now says "maybe I should get rid of the sayians, a super sayian could be a problem" on Namek, which makes no sense given how he already done that.
Scenes inside the space-ships aren't, never see Goku training
I do get the impression they were low on budget and time, the patch would indicate a bunch of content not finished on time.
Alot of the animations are very simplistic PS2 era with loads of cuts to text, with the voice work very choppy at times, recorded at diff tones.
