How to Stunbreak Enemies, deal with Super Armor and Red Attacks?
I have issues getting long Combos since the enemy always either interrupts me with super armor, ignores hit stun or just randomly breaks out of a combo.

Most red attacks can't be dodged by reflex since they come out to fast (you see red enemy move it is already to late)

Stun Breaking also seems nearly impossible for the same reason and the super attacks that apparently are there to Stun won't do it if you need it.

Also, you can't really combine super's with normal attacks since even though I stop hitting normal attack button and bring up my Special Menu for a Super Attack, it just won't be executed for some reason.

Anyone can please point me to a guide or Video?

Yeah you just need to spam your dash when they start glowing with the red lightning or just block it or vanish hit. The super armor is just stupid on some enemies, I mean they will attack and attack and attack with next to no delay or pause. I've noticed many attacks that can't seem to be dodged at all or they break your block and I just have to take the damage. Feels like there needs to be a balance patch or something. I haven't found a way to stun or break super armor at all. Very few attacks will have the meter to stop them from using their attacks but that seems to only be bosses during cinematic attacks like Frieza's Death Ball for example.

There is also this annoying thing where you'll Super Kamahamaha an enemy and they just fly through that ♥♥♥♥ like it's nothing. Super Armor is used too much in this game.

This excactly, I thought I was imagining things. And I just can't find anyone giving decent advice or tutorials that proved me wrong yet...

for those red super armor charging attacks they do I usually use block+ki blast key..if you time it right it gives you a small window of immunity

You can break through it, but you need to understand how.

When they glow red and they're launching a ki super, you can dash into them (if possible) and melee them out of it. They'll get stunned out of it. If not just dodge to the side, you can dodge 95% of ki attacks this way.

If you're melee'ing them and they start glowing red, they'll do a melee super. Dash vanish back like 3/4 times, then launch a ki super.

Once you get a feel for this, it becomes really easy.

I get the meele red glow, but the Ki attack? you mean the red line?

I tried for a while now to get a beam struggle to trigger but no luck yet, I either interrupt them or they start their attack to fast.

Also they are going right trough my beam attacks and hit me anyway even when I am 3-4 dashes away xD not always, but a lot.

Also, I still wanna know how it is even possible to reduce their Stun Gauge reliably to 0. Only thing I managed is to break Guard so far.

i think it's more about learning how enemies act during the fights. haven't died that much in the first act (mostly due to just pissing about and trying some things out that got me to die)

the game isn't realy that hard ;) and those who are whining about the game are the ones who say dark souls is a bad game (because they suck at everything)

so yeah, for bossfights i suggest just saving and reloading (just learn their attack patterns and you'll be able to dodge and find opening for massive damage)

I have played Dark Souls Games and Bloodborne, thats why I am so sad that dodging is handled so poorly in this game.

You are right that the game is not that hard, but it is annoying when you play as Goku against Reccome Jeice and Barter, but they can just easily intterrupt and pummel you only for the cutscene to take over and show you what you wanted to do, dominating them. SSJ against Frieza before 100% and get interrupted every few seconds in your combo without a way to stop the enemy from doing that sorta thing with Super Armor and flying trough beams, that sense of power is just not there...

So yeah not so much about difficulty and more about battle flow.

Also all these charging auras and bloom effects obfuscating your vision constantly.

Lot of ppl trying to play this like BT or Xenoverse. Don't.

Go for combos only after you Break or Stun, thassit. Rest literally is poke poke poke poke and reacting to what they do.

If stunning would only work xD

I've really tried to put in work to figure out 'how this super armor works'. Why is it in the game if there is a stun gauge. And probably the ONLY thing I can think of that might work guys is to wait for the enemy KI Gauge to wear out a bit and then fight more aggressive. This also means that you'll be dodge and blocking for up to a minute straight sometimes. I've had luck at times where the AI literally can't stop me, especially if I release my tension gauge during the time that they can't use the Super Armor bs. THERE NEEDS TO BE A GUIDE, or someone from the company needs to actually step out of the shade and explain to the rest of the world how super armor actually works.

What's so difficult to understand "Super Armor"? It's literal what the name implies: have your attacks/moves become uninteruptible, besides a few special occasions (mainly beam's hitting each other and Solar Flash, most likely something else I just forgot).

Stun Bar exists as it's treated as exactly that: deal enough stun damage and get the enemy stunned. It's more or less useless in fast fights, but more important once enemies are stronger than you.

Too true. I easily beat enemies 70 levels higher than me with proper knowledge of the Stun Bar.
