Where can I find the save file?
I want to find it and back it up for precaution of others losing their's. I am unsure what file holds it, or where it is usually placed, as I cannot find it in the documents folder.

Find your steam installation. Open UserData. Open folder with a big number and look for the folder labeled 851850

It will be something like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YOUR STEAM ID HERE\851850\remote\

Potentially saved many hours.

Happy to help. Think I'm gonna go ahead and back those files up, myself.

Did you already lose your file saves or perhaps you aren't in the right game file? It has to be 851850

i think i lost my file saves already but i dont know how that would happen and i dont see the 851850 in my steam id folder its weird because i checked everything and still dont know why game is not saving i cant even cut my pc off because its not going to save my progress

ok so i can open the at-win64-shipping file and use my data when it comes to the original game file itself it makes me start over from the beginning

If you lost the save data already, then they won't be there. The file itself is located in your files like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\66575105\851850\remote with the 851850 located within the file that has your steamid or some other number. There were only a couple files in my userdata, so I could open each one to find the 851850 file.

I would open an explorer window, open your main drive, and enter 851850 into the search box. Then open whatever folder shows up with that number.
