Bandai-Namco, please remove that sun glare
This game is great and even if its graphics aren't the best, they are more than nice enough. But that terrible illumination on top of the screen all the time, washing out every colour on its way breaks the inmersion. When you point the camera up to the sky and see its blue color is very nice, but when you face it forward and one third of the screen is completely washed out it breaks it all.

Tweaking the settings on the ini doesn't remove it unfortunately. And I'm not the only one complaining because it's a terrible effect.

yeah some of us need that mod.... the sunglare gives me headache -.-
Chaosfrag Jan 18, 2020 @ 1:32pm
well, this doesn't remove that glare at the top edge of the screen like on the screenshot from serialbuzz...

Exactly, I have those settings on the ini since launch and the glare is there. It needs a mod like that one of SerialBuzz but I haven't found it anywhere.

BTW, I think that SerialBuzz's mod is some kind of reshade, because if you look at the name of the file it is a timestamp and the two screenshorts are made just with seconds of diference. So it has to be an on/off toggle. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood has also this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gradient light and there was a modded reshade that removed the effect.

Waiting for SerialBuzz to help us, because I can't play it anymore until remove that terrible effect.

could already have given an explenation ;)

Bumping this thread, because I would very much like the reshade preset used here. I messed with reshade for about an hour and nothing I did got rid of the awful glare

Yeah, I hope he releases the mod today or tell us how he did it, because as I said I stopped playing (even if I'm enjoying it a lot) until that is fixed, because it ruins my inmersion. Luckily a new mod appeared that removes the floating damage numbers that was another one of my problems, but not as big as this one.

I don't think this was done by using a Reshade. Reshade only adds effects to a game. It never removes already implemented effects by the devs. For that you have to edit config files or mod the game.
