Gamepad issues

I have an xbox one elite controller and the game refuses to recognize it. I have tried restarting the controller, running wireless instead of wired, checking the controller settings in steam etc etc.

Hmm in using the same (wired) but its no problem here.
Only when i first started the game it didnt seem to respond.

But eventually it did.
Didnt really change anything, other then turn on (in the steam settings) the option to fiddle with xbox controller settings for games.

But didnt change anything in the controller options once available, so not sure whats different here.

I managed to solve my issue, I had to turn on EVERY SINGLE option under controller settings in steam, god knows why it works but it did.

Turn on all of the "Configuration Support" check boxes for each button layout/support. This worked for me too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
