steam controller settings dosnt change the ingame controller LAYOUT !
if i only see xbox layout in a game i wont play it with my ps4 controller. thats why i asked. if there is no ps4 layout i need to wait for a mod or dont play it.

I will assume it'll have native ps4 support. I would just wait, since it's not out on pc yet. No one knows.

While y'all are on the subject of controller layouts, how does one usually get PS4 layouts on PC games for controllers?

For some games you gotta turn big picture mode on, for others off. Most newer releases have native ps4 support these days.
