A bit disappointing for me. There are already so many Dragon Ball Z type games out now, that i am beginning to get tired of it. And still they are going to keep going with this.
Haven't they made enough of Dragon Ball Z already! (always Z).
we should really just make it Cannon...
Dragon Ball GT, has already spread everywhere, everyone knows the Story, & it's
already spun like tons of Games, & even has Cards, & merchandise, & still has popularity,
it's even in Newer Games like Xenoverse, & such Titles...
They should really just call it Cannon...
They already put some of the Chars & their same looks in Dragon Ball Super as it is...
Like Gogeta for instance... I think even Fighter Z has GT content in it...
Why keep Promoting Dragon Ball GT, if we don't ever want it to become Cannon?
There are even some talks that SSJ4 is gonna end up becoming more powerful
then Ultra Instinct, & such... Simply because people like SSJ4 more...
Now, if GT won't ever become Cannon, then SSJ4 can't be cannon either, right?
Well whatever happens, at this point I have no idea what Direction Toryama is
taking the Franchise anymore, ~_~
The thing I do know is... No matter how much they improve, & change, & try to
make things better in Newer Products, they always end up going back to the
classics, because it seems to me that is were it all began, & it just seems that has
always been, & will always be the better product, o_@
Which is why we keep getting Rehash Stories of DBZ, & not new Stories like Super... lOl...
Anyways, I think GT is doub'tful moving forwards as an RPG Vers of it's own,
I think unless things change... DBZ Kakarot is kinda where things are staying,
in terms of going forwards... I don't believe we'll get a Sequel, or anything...
Maybe? oO
Dragon Ball GT is still an exciting story with places and fights that can be quite a lot of fun in video games. And i do not think they should ignore that, just because of the Dragon Ball Super storyline.
In my eyes it is a little bit like Star Wars!
In the Star Wars books the story went through with fighting the remnants of the Empire, the Jedi Academy which flourished well, and the birth of the twins Jaina and Jacen, etc.
And from these timeline they already made quite a few video games, with Kyle Katarn, etc.
But then suddenly in the Star Wars movies they deceide to go in a different direction.
The fight against the First Order, no Jedi Academy, only 12 students, and Ben Solo was born (and no twins).
And now suddenly the storyline from the movies is the one it should be.
But that does not mean that the storyline from the books suddenly have to be forgotten or have become useless in my eyes. The storyline from the books have still very much value to me and a lot of people.
And with Dragon Ball GT is it in my eyes the same. That storyline still has a lot of value even despite they went in another direction in dragon Ball Super. And the storyline and content of Dragon Ball GT can still be used to create fun video games to play with.
Even Dragon Ball (without Z) in which Goku is still a kid would be nice for a change.
Just because it is something different then another Dragon Ball Z-type again.
Me, if this game adds a DLC where you go to Imecka and other GT Planets, I'd ♥♥♥♥ my pants.
