Dragon Ball games you MUST play? ( single player )
I remember some of the GBA ones being above average as well as a Wii title.

dbz densetsu and gokuden

best dbz jrpg .. they should make dbz jrpg again -.- why action rpg..
While JRPGs are good, Action RPG are much better suited for Dragon Ball Z

Disagree. I think turn based dbz games are amazing if done right. Attack of the saiyans was easily my favorite jrpg of the last decade. Or one of the.

What people prefer doesn't change the fact that DBZ is about big epic battles which makes it better suited for action than turn based.

Eh, wrong. It's entirely about what people prefer. It's called a preference, an opinion. Whatever you see in dbz isn't relevant to me. It's how I see it, for myself. And what i prefer.

I enjoy both action and RPG games, but for me they both work. I'm not as simple minded as to believe a franchise can only work in one way.

To be entirely fair, Attack of the saiyans was also my favorite rpg as a kid

I never said only one way or the other,(in truth I would also like a new good JRPG for DBZ as well, better for slowing down and relaxing) but I'm simply stating that since the anime strived to have big epic fights that action is the better gameplay style to recreate that.

Dragon Ball Z: Budukai 3
Up until now it is the best DB game imo.
Solid fighting, great roster, tons of secrets and a great value for money considering it was mostly singleplayer (PS2 era)
I've spent hundreds of hours playing that game.

Infinite World"

B3 had that terrible Dragon Rush and Super Armor System.

RNG in a fighting game, how ridiculous.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi, DBZ Budakai Tenkaichi 2,
DBZ Sagas...

Are the closet thing you'll get to a good DBZ Story in an Open World Environment...

Outside of that? You'll have to look even further back at a lot more older DBZ Games,
if you want an RPG Story Element to your Game, but you won't find that 3rd Person
Perspective that far back... But it's fine, these Games are still really good, & tell
very good stories... I can't Name them, as i've played too many by now to know
Exact names off the top of my head, though, srry...

Ultimate Tenkaichi is open world, has the DBZ style, has custom characters,
& it has it all, it has 3rd Person... Whats wrong with it? We'll after playing you'll
realize whats wrong with it... But if you can get by, & not focus on whats wrong,
you might like it...

Ultimate Tenkaichi was suppose to be the answer to Budakai Tenkaichi, it failed,
Xenoverse was suppose to be the Answer to Budakai Tenchaichi that
Ultimate was not, but also failed... DBZ Kakarato is the Answer, & it sounds
like will be a winner this time... But non, the less, there is no reason to
check those other ones out if you really want to...
