Am i softlocked?

I defeated Nappa and Vegeta, and now i have to get the recipe for chichi.
The Problem is, i ate the 3 ingredient meals you'll get from the npc cook, and saved after that lol.

just farm the mats and craft them back,.........you got all the basic recipe needed for them at start of the game, those are juste 3 recipe mixed together,

I kind of went into that direction, but i have no clue how to get those 2:
-Plain white rice
-Select Beast Meat

if im not wrong there are some fields in little villags with glowy orbs on them they should give rice - and the beast meat is i think from wolves etc. they should be fairly easy to get.
I had mine while exploring and had to only collect the beast meat

but it's specifically "select beast meat" :/
The one field where you get the recipe only gives you onions, im going to check if there's another field.

broken houses have rice. select Beast meat is harder, as it is rarer.

i don't think there are broken houses on the south east mountain map, at least at this point in the story.
I found "rice" as an orb, but "plain white rice" is needed.

sometime you can just look for talking npc, they sometime talk about stuff like this could be here or that could be there, if you go there , and loot the little glowing spot,

for the select beast meat, it the same, if a npc talk about premium meat , there a good chance the animal close will drop rarer food, and the rice ,,...there some in the farm just north of goku's house,

nah, i did that. I searched like 2 hours the whole map.
i know those deers in the north and that npc, and those wolfes farther north.
They just drop "beast meat" or "wolf meat".
With google i found out Black Gazelle is dropping it, but it's not in that area.
Furthermore iv'e read, those are 2 Star ingredients and they will be available on namek.

For me it seems to be an oversight, now i ended up using a cheat trainer for adding meals :/

I just ate the quest item lol.
But the tutorial said eat a lot and always to get strooooong!

You can see on the map which region gives you which materials. You have to select a region and then press a button. I don't know which button, but the game tells you which button on the bottom of the screen.

yes i've seen that later.
The problem is, while at that exact point in story, you can't even open the world map, you are locked in that area.
And after you finished that meal quest, your next target is the kame house, and you're free to go again.
But then on the world map you can see, that no where on the map those ingredients are obtainable.
After i progressed some more story, those ingredients became obtainable, the loot table was upgraded.

Oh, i forgot to add to my last post, i used a cheat trainer to gain those materials, so i could progress.

You could've always bought the ingredients from one of the shops. Their are 3 shops, mechanical/food/general. The food shop should have the ingredients in. You can always sell other ingredients for the Zeni to purchase the ingredients you needed.

The shop does not sell those items at this point in the story.
Later, yes, it does.

It sells the 1 Star "rice",
but not the 2 Star "plain white rice"
and same with the select beast meat.
