Broken cursor on community hub.
I just got the game and got to the part where it tries to teach you how to use the community hub. It says to move the cursor over an "empty panel" whatever that is, and left click.

I've tried left clicking on EVERYTHING. I just get a "bump bump" noise as if I've clicked on something wrong.

If I hit any button other than left click it re-opens the instruction to left click on an "empty panel".

In that specific menu you have to move the cursor with the movement key (which totally makes sense: everyone will agree that a cursor is supposed to be moved that way).
In most menu the game will gladly ignore the highlighted option and stealthily use the option your cursor is hovering (including unavailable options like completed or locked trainings). So stealthily in fact that it will lie to you and pretend to use the selected option instead of the hovered one.

Just click on something that isn't a medal. If that doesn't work, try using a controller.
I literally clicked on everything. I don't have a controller because I don't play with a controller. My mouse works perfectly fine in every other menu.

Try clicking over an empty grey circle.

You forgot that this game wasn't made for the mouse and keyboard. They are an AFTERTHOUGHT.
So I was trying to move my cursor with my mouse. Like in EVERY OVER menu in the game and EVERY other PC game.

Why can't Japan get PC games right?

Because PC gaming isn't really a thing in Japan, so they don't have any experience making them.
PC gaming is about 3/4 of the gaming market in Japan, it's huge in Japan. They just can't seem to *make* PC games for some reason.
