sorry I had a brain aneurysm. I think what I was trying to say is that dragon ball's japanese dub is comical on purpose, whereas english is accidental. IDK anymore man we argued about this on gamefaqs and I don't know why I cared enough in the first place. This shouldn't have transcended boards, let alone start in the first place. I grew up with the kai dub, which is admittedly a good dub, but I have also grown to passionately hate funimation for many reasons, which in my opinion takes away anything they've done good. We shouldn't have to justify our opinions to eachother like this, and I really apologize for attacking your opinion on it.

Isn´t true. Within the cellfight he becomes the most powerful and in his mystic form he is stronger than SSJ3 Goku. If you are talking about GT/Super you are right, but every charakter besides goku and vegeta become trash in that series.

Goku in God form held his own against, what was it, 70% power beerus i think?

And Mystic gohan in super actually forced goku into Blue, which is the super saiyan version of God, and still got a couple hits in before being defeated.

I think its somewhere in the limbo between SSJ3 and Super saiyan god.
Considering the damage gohan did in their spar, i'd have to assume its closer to God.

You should look again, because Gohan was no match for Buu after he absorb Gotenks. And even if I doubt Gotenks ssj3 being stronger than Goku, you still have to be aware that Goku and Gohan have years of fighting experiences while Gotenks is a kid.

And his fight against Buu show us that, he fights like a kid, he is playing more than he is fighting, and while he was stronger than Super Buu all along, he ran out of time making the fusion over.

You have to consider the stamina cost of ssj3, that's the main difference with the unlished potential of Gohan. And it is officially stated that Goku in ssj3 form is stronger than ultimate Gohan.

And you shouldn't base yourself on DBS, because it's going back to martial arts abilities more than pure power, as shown during ToP with the fight between Roshi and Jiren, and the differences of power between Goku and Vegeta as Ssb and Gohan during ToP is quite obvious.

I can see where you're coming from but honestly I think it's just the idea of an ultimate Saiyan transformation (which of course was later denied by SSB). The mystic form is not really a transformation because you can't just reach it whenever you want, you need some enormous potential locked inside and as we all know the ritual takes forever.
That's why it was phrased like that.

Then again if it is meant like that then it yet again is something rephrased in Battle of Gods, because Goku himself indirectly said that Gohan's Mystic form is stronger than he himself is
