If you were talking about the gameplay, they are both Metroidvania, of course they'll ressemble eachothers. That's what genres are. Are two car games ripping eachothers off because you drive cars in them? No. Same thing here.
And i'm not going to go into a deep explanation on how it's incredibly hard to avoid games and characters having coincidental similarities with another in current year because that should be common sense. But the games don't even ressemble eachothers that much.
