Question about the extra stage (Kind of Spoiler Alert!)

Em, i have a question, because in the first ending (where you defeat false Nitori/Flandre) Remilia talks whit flandre that both of them are going to make the new "Extra Stage", although that in the 2nd "timeline" ending (where you defeat Reimu/Younger Reimu) it seems like neither Flandre or Remilia talked about the extra stage, so here's enters the question: is the Boss Rush the extra stage? because in the boss rush room just appears Nitori, so that means that the Extra stage doesn't exist or doesn't exist for now? (i consider the Boss Rush as an extra stage because in the game load menu it refers it as the 7th stage, that in normal touhou games there are just 6 stages in normal game and the 7th is on the extra mode, and the 8th stage if there is a phantasm dicifulty as PCB does) (I also verified by defeating again Real Flandre and there's seems that nothing really changed).

I actually think that extra stage was stage with Reimu. Boss rush is just a gamemode. What worries me more is the plot of this game in general. It is weird. In the first ending we see how this fake world is gets destroyed, however, after this we can still have fun in this fake world. Then, if we go on the Reimu stage, we will encounter Nitori, and Sakuya, instead of saying something like ,,Lol Flan why did you dress up as Nitori again" acts like if she still does not know that first Nitori was not the real Nitori.

It's a different ending. After you defeat Flan, the game loads at the save point before you encounter "Nitori" and Flan. So that battle will never actually happen if you choose to beat the Extra Stage

So it seems like someone rewinded the things that happened just before everything ended?

Sounds pretty good, but are there any proofs except for that fact that if time rewinds it explains why you can fight Nitori over and over again? However you can fight Reimu ver and over again even if you win... Very weird.

what i can take from that is that there's a "simulation" that involucrates how good Sakuya is on battle? maybe that's why when we enter boss rush it seems like a simulation, maybe the gems made that the rest of the fake world instead of making it sort of virtually thing, made it a bit more alive and maybe they are using the mentallity of Sakuya for see how really good is on battle, then Flandre secretly enters as Nitori, and the rest is history. Or maybe there are 3 different story lines, the first were Flandre reveals to Remilia, The 2nd were we realise that Reimu is invading the fake Gensokyo, or the 3rd one, were it seems everything is fixed and we can train our abilities on the boss rush; But this is weird knowing the dialogue Whit Remilia after her battle. Yeah, the plot is a bit weird


Edit: WAIT! now i get it, we fight again whit False Nitori/Flandre after we defeated her becausse what said Remilia, that The false Gensokyo was for Flandre, that's why in Reimu's Ending she isnt angry.
