You don't need cloth or sleeping bag just in the main menu click on save.

I can confirm as of july 21 the save function is broken. Esc -> save does not save my progress.

I can confirm as of July 22 you are incorrect, I just tested it again.

It still saves the wonky way it has saved for a while now. Press esc, click save, press esc, click resume. This can be verified by looking in the c:\users\Username\appdata\locallow\bloodmoon games folder

There is about a week old discussion on this very subject with the same remarks.

The game does not save contents of the quickbar or chests, anything you want to keep put in your inventory bag, no need to save the axe and stone club it gives you new ones. Also furnaces I believe don't save.

To load the save press esc click on the load button, press esc click resume.

Edit: currently the chest contents do save, the quick bar does save, furnaces still don't.

Previous saves don't work properly.

Not saving for me as well, did just like they said to do and not saving now. It was saving the last time i played several days ago but now it is not.

Did you swap the word "username" for your actual pc username
