How to "Destroy" someone?
It's an instant-win move that the CPU has done to me so I had to restart the fight from the beggining (even if I had one victory)

You have to trigger the Instant Kill, which doesn't work like in other Guilty Gear games. IIRC it's 236HS in this one (and if it's not, it's written in the in-game help).

So you have to simply do a quarter circle toward the right then an Heavy slash? But what timing? And how to prevent ennemies from doing that to you?

Read the in-game help, everything is explained there. But basically, when your opponent attempts an Instant Kill, you can counter it with the opposite input (quarter circle backwards) + HS, still if I remember correctly. Some counter moves also have the property to trigger IK mode, by the way.

I think I'll check a guide for this. I'm kinda noobish when it comes to fighting game (this is my very first contact with the GG serie)

I plan to get Xrd Rev 2 during the next sale

As I said, there is an in-game guide to help you pull an IK out.

GGXrd Rev 2 is very different (and much more polished), Instant Kills don't work the same way there; basically you have to press all four main attack buttons then input the IK's command. If you fail, you can't use the Tension Meter until the end of the round, so it's risky and mostly for show.

I think I'll probably refund this game and buy Xrd during the next sales...

The game itself is fun but feels kinda archaic

It sure is very experimental when compared to later Guilty Gear games, and is mostly played out of curiosity and for its lore... So I can't really blame you for thinking it's archaic.

And yeah, Rev 2 is a lot of fun, plus it's much more solid than this one.

Yeah it's kinda like how Street Fighter 2, despite setting up the whole genre, is kinda slow and archaic today (I really love the SF Alpha and III series on the other hand)

To be honest one of the reasons why I would take Xrd is for Zato's voice hehe
