Controls on start up list please.

When I try playing this game, my thumb sticks and start/select are apparently swapped, and a few other things don't work as they should, and some can't be changed in the in-game options menu. Can anyone give me an idea of what the start-up input options are supposed to refer to, rather than just a "button 1", "button 2", etcetera?

this would also be helpful to me as well as the R2 button being start feels clunky at the best of times
