You don't...the dodge mechanic jumps you way too far to actually move precisely. The way you win is by hoping you have enough health items. Rametek is way overpowered and obnoxious. But just wait until you get to the very end...you have to fight 2 insanely hard bosses in a row...without saving or replenishing health items...it's miserable and most players literally will not be able to finish. That's where I'm at currently, and I've beat every Dark Souls game multiple times.

I've beaten as far as I am concerned every hack and slash action rpg or adventure game on hard (did a dark souls no dying run as well for all 3)

But this boss.... There MUST be a way to dodge the blue balls. I hope the dev can enlighten the situation because if there is not that would be terrible =/

It is easier than it looks. Run in a lateral way, so the spheres don't reach you.

I have been running left and right the moment he fires up his balls.. they still hit me, all 3 of them. And the other 6 if he spawns them lmao. Are you sure this is it? I know you are the dev but I tried this method and it did not seem to work

Here is a video I recorded to proof moving left-right does NOT work.

Ahhhh I figured it out. The gameplay is tied to the fps. In the video I have 400 fps or so meanig the balls come 3-4x faster than usual. Put it on 60 fps and now I can indeed run left and right without getting it. @Brumbrek lower your fps and the game will be much easier

OMG! Since all the console version are locked to 60FPS and no computer whe have test the game on runs it at 400 FPS (I can't even imagine the computer you have...), we never noticed this issue. Thanks A LOT for telling us. We will fix it in the next patch.

Haha nice! Glad to help :D

Now I know why it took so long for me to beat him. Does any of the Bearer's spells scale with FPS too? I'm wondering if her dash into you might be similar.

You are AWESOME for fixing this! I'm reviewing the game right now for a website, and my review was not going to be kind since some of the enemy attacks were impossible to dodge...if this fixes the issue...my review will be much kinder.

But while I've got you...have you ever considered adding a break between the final two boss encounters? It is just SO punishing to finish one and have to do the other immediately with zero health items left. I fear players without very good ability will never finish the game...anyway.

Having just beat the game, I want to say I greatly respect and admire your efforts in making this game! I bought the first one now so I can know the full story!

That fight is just amazing. Good luck after this battle, mate. You'll wish to return to that battle xD

Such a pretty good action game. I'm a fan of the genre and I'll recommend Anima series to friends.

Hi Brumbek.

Thanks a LOT for your words ^_^
I am glad to know that you are having fun. For a small 3 people team like us, it makes us happy ^^
You think that they are too hard? We wanted to create a challenging experience with that boss, but I also understand very well what you mean. We will consider the possibility to divide them if you are playing easy or even refill items. Thanks for telling us ^^

Hi Hanuo

Thanks for your words too ^__^

I think there absolutely needs to be a pause between the two bosses in order to replenish items and save. Both bosses are already very challenging on their own. Putting two bosses in a row is something that will simply anger and frustrate players. Consider the Dark Souls games...they are very tough, but they NEVER put two bosses in a row without a break.

I just know so many people will quit the game in rage at the end because it is just too hard.

There is a pause between both bosses. When you defeat the first boss, a portal appears as a shortcut to Nexus, where you can both heal yourself, save and shop. It's npt like two bosses in a row. The second boss will be triggered after you visit the place where you defeated the 1st and activates something there.

To Hanuo
Brumbek is talking about the final boss, no Rametek.

To Brumbek
In fact, a LOT of Dark Souls bosses are two bosses in a row without a break; The Nameless King, Friede, Soul of Cinder...
But yes, I know what you mean in this case.
