It will be on consoles, it will be a small map ...
The map is large but not as large as Alaska - we have shrunk it down but the central region is there and is extremely detailed.
We made tradeoffs between size and gameplay, we want the map to feel large and have tons to explore but we couldn't reproduce Alaska in a 1:1 scale.
So - it's big, but not as big as the real Alaska.
As will the speed limits which were 15mph only in the built up areas these are enforced by the Speed trap police cars, combine that with low grip. results in the area being bigger..
You can't take every mission untill you get ranked up... so you will get to know the low level mission Drop of locations well...
What's the scale you used? Kind of surprised that you didn't provide this information.
Unrelated. ATS covers more states but at a 1:18 (I think from memory) scale, if this game has a different scale it may well end up with a bigger map than ATS (I don't think it's the case but the state-count argument doesn't matter).
