Ok so After ETS2 and by this Wednesday ATS 1.50 updates, I deleted both of those games cause I can't even figure out the menu anymore. So I guess I am an ART fanboy now just driving with 1 truck. Starting new profile today.

Nevermind. I started in Legends and can't ever see the road to know where to turn.

The development team never expected that playing in Legend mode would be this miserable, which is why we are the testers in this 1.4 test branch lol.
No one is going to get through Legend Mode unless they have a lot of patience.
We'll do our best to make it through the five days of winter and the weather will be sunny in the spring, but an even more hellish summer awaits us.

Yea, did all that. Its like a white out since 1.4 Heavy fog. Can only see maybe 60 scale feet. I actua;ly hate updates now. Just fix bugs. That is all they should do, not drastically change the environment. Im driveing about 20mph tops so I dont hit those concrete tombstones. Still hit one though. Never saw where the road ended.

Yep, same here. I feel bad for those fellas, given that dev is relentless with those game breaking updates. It's a shame really. I'm scared to even put that thing on.

I decided to stop playing Legend mode and advance my character in Standard mode.

I think you guys have to be crazy to play on Legend lol. I have about 900 hours on ATS, and the easiest mode on this is tough enough. If i want to play one those rogue truck games, i'll play Snowrunner or Mudrunner.

Just play on the easy mode.

Yeah i would think on this game playing on Legend would be a bit too tough. There's no shame in it, being even very experienced folks in these games are gonna have a tough time with it. I just like to have fun, and play on the normal mode lol.

LMAO this sums it up in a nut shell, you left two fantastic games because they changed the menus to dive into the most broken piece of crap game I have ever played and then choose the worst possible way to start as well, thanks for the laugh mate

I restarted again in Standard also. I made it through a winter in Legend before 1.4 patch but they made visibility in Legend so bad now its not fun. I'm mostly playing farming games but I play this now and then. I was hoping it would be my main game for a time.

Glad I could give u a chuckle. So yea, I have gotten pretty desperate for a new driving game. Not many new truck driving games come out. (Not counting the crap ones for 99 cents that are just stupid asset flips.) I'm waiting on that one that will be based in Australia. It has been coming soon for maybe 4 years.

I immediately felt that the Legend Mode before the update wasn't this bad, so I reported it immediately, but the response from the developer was
"This is not possible because the fog is adjusted too thin. Please try lowering the settings."
I haven't played the game to confirm, so I can only say something off-topic.

"Truck World: Australia" is on my wish list, but I'm not sure if it's similar to "Truck World: Driving School" (lol)
