Stuck In L3? 22mph?

Still happening. Made yet another new profile. In tutorial job, leave the gas station. Boom. L3 bug. Yet again. I have not had even a single delivery where that bug has not forced me to quit the game. I am beyond fed up with this now.

I had the same problem with 19mph. I could fix this by repairing the truck. The cooling System was the main reason for it, I think

The gears are not a mistake. You can shift into L1, L2, L3 and it's perfect for the ice road as you can't go faster than 20 mph.
Shifting gears:
It's best to use the handbrake. Once the truck has come to a stop, press the dash button ( - ) on the keyboard, to the right of the dot, and you're back in normal gear 1,2,3,4,....

53 hours in, never encountered the stuck-at-L3 bug. I use semi-automatic transmission, since the automatic transmission as modelled in the game is quite inaccurate, with no ability to coast, as though the engine brake is constantly on. When on semi-auto, I start at 4th gear from a stop, and immediately shift to 8th gear as soon as I get moving. Never need to shift down unless at a steep incline.
