In the state of the game I would totally be for a scum save feature since it's almost impossible to get a load to destination without damaging it mostly because of the game wokiness, invisible bump or even just transitioning from asphalt to a wooden bridge (no crazy breaking or anything super smooth) got my load integrity from 97% to 0, nothing, right away.... after a long drive like my friend here posting this.
Says you. The devs set this way for a reason. It is a survival game and they wanted it so you could not save scum mistakes away.
No, also the 5 people before me, at least.
It's not a survival game, it's a trucker game. And I'm pretty sure that the devs want us players to enjoy our experience. Nobody would force you to use on-demand saves.
How odd, my game saves when I exit the game. I can close the game and continue where I left off.
New players are too scared to hit the Second big cursor that is the native standard load screen option.
Had to talk them though this on discord.
Steam is not active so users get solutions quicker on discord.
Instead of necro bumping on steam its quicker to ignore steam and go direct to discord.
That would be great if the game didn't have bugs that cause 100% load damage just for getting towed and getting dropped on a fence. And random game crashes.
but i'd like to be able to save it
so then just go to PC SSD and copy the save file save0.sav to anotrher folder.
Windows will rename save0.sav as save0.copy.sav. and thats your back up
