Alaskan Road Truckers Patch #2

Hi truckers!

Patch #2 has just been released and is available to download. The two major issues that have been addressed in this patch are:
- Issues encountered when upgrading your HQ at the PC: Please note this may persist on old saves, you may need to start a new game in order to pick up the fix.
- Steering wheel support.

Just as I download, clicking play and then boom! Update, haha. Although the update seems to be in an infinite loop and not starting. Steam issue? or issue on your end? Either way, I can't wait to play. Been waiting a while.

Might be worth just restarting Steam and seeing if that helps - it took a while for it to begin the download on my end, but it's working now so hopefully it'll sort itself out in a moment

I am still getting fatal error and crashing when using the manage HQ section on computer :-( also my cooker is missing in the hq kitchen theres a steaming pot just hovering there

how do enable console commands to get my money and xp back if i need to start again?

when you incountet that again you need to start a new game after the patch i guess there wasnt a way to get it out of older saves

Loaded the game after this update and my save was just after I used the oven. However once loaded the oven was not present and just an empty space. Retried loading same but tried the Laptop seemed fine, but crashed in truck purchase.
So retried loading game, oven still missing and Laptop seemed okay that time but could not find the new truck, once purchased.

Can you try in a new save? Some of the fixes may not apply to older saves, sorry about this.

Pain in the bum, but I believe creating a new save after this V2 update should fix your issues.

Yeah HQ Management seems toworks on a new save game, thanks for the info. ive dropped my resolution from 1440p to 1080p fps has stabilised a bit now getting around 35ish with epic settings and dlss set to quality. hopefully devs will continue to optimise adn stabilise the fps further. fingers crossed.

You having force feedback issues? Got this on Xbox controller, can't find the option and It's hard to control without force feedback.

FPS still terrible and bumps launching into air all over place. Im done with this game until its patched up properly. Dosent matter what res or setting you choose in graphics, theres hitches and stutters and fps drops all over the place. Back to American truck Simulator where i can drive with everything maxed out and looking fabulous. such a shame i quite like the ideas of survival and upgrading HQ in this game.
