First it made me question some basic premises, such as "What does 'supposed to' actually mean?"
At first glance, one can look at the System Requirements for the game on the Store page here in Steam. That specifies a 64-bit computer and an OS. It then goes on to specify an OS no later than Windows 7. By implication, that limits the game to a list of devices running 64-bit Windows. That alone means the game is not available on "all devices" it's not available on Linux or Mac, it's not available on Android, iOS, or ARM computers. It's probably not available on devices without a monitor, even though it does not explicitly state that. It's probably not available on handheld device, and so forth.
But then I returned to the aspect of "supposed to".
"Suppose" means "Generally assumed of believed to be the case, but not necessarily so".
"Supposed to" seems to be a way to refer to obligations or societal norms, for instance, one is not supposed to talk loudly in a library.
So now I'm wondering what gave rise to the expectation that this game was supposed to be available on "all devices"? How did you arrive at that assumption, belief, or expectation?
But more specifically, in the vast panoply of "all devices", which I in turn I suppose could include such a variety as a dentist's drill; an electric can opener; or maybe a wearable watch - what devices did you assume this would run on that you find it does not run on, contrary to the stated requirements that the game support?
OP must be a fan of classic Doom
