Why does Bluetooth work when my phone's cellular connection can't be established?

They both use radio spectrum frequencies and cellular connections are supposed to have better reach. WHY? :)

Or would you prefer someone make up some special lore?

Rift space was blocked by the reactor, but not microrift space. If Danu had the foresight to bring along a microrift lab they would have all been able to escape easily.

It was just a simple oversight to not think about using tin foil over the reactor to prevent the radio spectrum frequencies from being interrupted.
