Can't join my friend in coop via steam friends menu, only works via code

Make sure you are both online. When you click the invite to host, you should see a list of friends. Click a friend to send the invite. The friend should get the invite popup. They can either have the game running already, or not. Either way should work. When they click to accept, they then need to go into mverse and the information should be filled in already.

If this isn't working, then provide some info on who is hosting (you or them), if the person hosting sees the friend list appear, if the invite is received, and then whether they are already running the game when they received the invite.

Ah yeah this works, but its a little bit confusing when you not know. The invite should at least open the mverse menu for the client.
