Any help for 'We Know Nothing'?
Been trying a few different strategies but nothing seems to be able to stand up to the wave coming in. Trying to rush the AC doesn't seem to do anything at all. Am I not getting enough Bluite to power it quickly enough?

at the early game, just build tower, focusing on energy
ignore refinary etc

then build 2 layer of mortar behind the shield, the creeper wont even able to touch the shield with those mortar around,

after that you can just spam mortar and cannon to the frontline, focusing on thier powerline (the grey box thingy)

ez win

ps: i think cannon its pretty useless except to hold emitter while we build nultfilier

i started from the back giving myself the most time to prepare and pushed it did take like a hour though

the cannon is a great backup to the mortar and the nullifier. it fires quicker(but smaller area) then the spread and can help you push by rotating cannon mortars.
Sometimes it helps to build guns in back and move them forward after there built so they hit the ground swinging. I also like to move the main building around to get it closer to were im building for faster build speed.

The 2 cubes seem to feed the creeper over this cablelike thingies. Next to the cubes are 2 small islands, fitting a mortar and tower on an edge. Build mortars there and put the base between pyramid and totem. When the islands are free, the creeper won´t get back. Relocate base on island, nullify cubes and finally do the main land at your pace.

It also helps to change the mines from Energie to Bluite to produce more AC

It took me a few restarts to get a good start on that mission-but I also went for a particularly aggressive stance.

That, and i'd forgotten how to make the factory, heh...

If anyone is still struggling with this and wants a quick runthrough, as it seems to be tripping up a fair number of people new to the game: https://youtu.be/Z5WjSkos5M0

Interesting. That's another mechanic that never gets introduced to the player, here.

This mission in general is an extremely hard left in terms of introduced mechanics and difficulty, for the intro "learn how to play Creeper World" campaign. All at once, the player must explore/learn:

  • What a chunk of Bluite ore is and how to use it
  • What a Greenar mother is and how to harvest it
  • What to do with a Refinery once built
  • What a Factory is and how to build it
  • How/why to change Miner sources
  • What an energy barrier is and how/why to manipulate it.

. . . all under the tightest time pressure of any level so far.

There should probably be a level in between this level and the previous one, introducing the Factory stuff.

that is not actually a good strategy. it sounds like a huge pain. if it is even possible
Takes about a minute on 4x speed. I legitimately thought it was the intended solution since surviving on the left seemed so untenable. I figured it was meant to teach you that you can relocate if circumstances change.

Same here, I did it on the first try but only due to miserably failing on the left and then noticing the right side got free so I moved over there.

....

Switching mines from Energy to Bluite is introduced 2 missions before this one.

Using Bluite is introduced in Ruins Repurposed, as is the factory, as is feeding pyramids with Bluite, etc. So all that's left is the energy barrier, refinery, greenar in terms of new material.

for we know nothing, i just put a lot of tower for energy at left of the map, and after a little moment i start to build to get the shield in the middle. i put the second turret inside the shield for its explosion, and help with little sentry around. you can put very early few tower near the spawn of ennemi with little energy tower, when their spawn is destroy, at this moment the game can't be lost.

Just an advice, put in first one tower, make pause, put the second, let it build, pause, after you can put 2 tower, wait they are build.... when energy come faster you can build more, and after fet the shield you build miner to get really a lot of power but not all miner in the same time, a good starter is always better than rush sentry.(it was my easier mission.... really, so fast and easy after get a good start)

Just build a line of mortars, around 8 should stop the wave from reaching your barrier.

I think you just spam towers, miners and a wall of turrets/mortars and it does fine? Make sure you aren't wasting energy and aren't over-spending, either, i.e. put 2 towers on start, then put them 1-by-1 as long as your use>gen, then start spamming. Once all territory is claimed, start miners. Once done, a line of turrets+mortars holds off easily. Optionally switch a couple miners to bluite and power the pyramid.
I mean, as much of tactical variety CW4 offers, I didn't encounter any trouble bruteforcing every scenario through towers+mortars on the first go, except for pre-final one, sometimes you add a sprayer or few on "always on" to make creeper clump up a bit more and advance slower. They all provide more than enough terrain+bluite to hold off the starting area.

That is hilarious -- I just went back and looked at the Ruins Repurposed mission, and I think I did the whole mission without doing any of that. I just went and completed the mission without noticing the 'Build and select a miner, friend' message up top.
