Fullscreen
This is like the 4th game I see launch on Steam in windowed mode. Alt+Enter doesnt work.
How the hell are you supposed to play in such a tiny window? You'd think by 2018 people would realize that 1080p is the norm but nooope.

You can find a settings option on your home planet, after you finish the tutorial.

I was wondering about this too. So lammmmee!.
I also noticed that my natural refex for fullscreen (Alt+ENTER) causes steam to enabled a controller setting that switches the controller off and causes the game only use awkward keyboard control.

You can NOT play the beginning of the game in full screen, but only in a small window?? Is that NORMAL??

It's a port of a 2004 PS2 game and the only Katamari game ever on PC.

Is it a good port? Not some aspects... this is one of the ways it falls short.

It's not perfect but if they make the sequels I would pick them up. There are 14 katamari games but only 3 that can be ported to PC (I think? the rest are all mobile apps and gimmicky spin-offs (no pun intended)

I hope we get:
We Love Katamari (2005)
Katamari Forever (2009)

It's a shame the creator went and made Wattam instead of a next gen version of Katamari.. would be really mind boggling to see on true next gen engine and hardware. It's too bad some indie dev hasn't taken a shot at a katamari inspired game.

Being forced to play the game at first launch in a tiny window, play through the entire tutorial before even getting a chance to adjust display options is an incomprehensible design decision to me. Imagine if a particular display setting has a problem for a particular player (and it will happen eventually to someone) so that they can't even operate the game to get through the tutorial junk in order to figure it out how to set it to the proper settings for their hardware. It also seriously impacts the "first impression" and first launch experience considerably.

This is just hilarious. They should receive a reward for this. If they can not make games for PC, they probably should just let it be. I am SO happy I did not have to pay for this game.

This is unacceptable. I refuse to finish the tutorial in "postage stamp mode". Accessibility is one of the most important features in any piece of software and makes the game completely unplayable and inapproachable to some people. What if the game started you off in a mode accessible only to people with 122-key keyboards and you could neither play it nor close it, nor turn off your computer, and had to unplug the machine before you regained control of your system? And you lost a week's worth of work in that book you were writing but forgot to save... OH WELL.

Neither F11 nor Alt-Enter does anything.
Adding "-screen-fullscreen 1" to Launch Options does not work, oddly.
Adding "screen-fullscreen=1" to /boot.config is ineffective, frustratingly.

I've started editing registry values... I'll let you know when I find anything important. Though "Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806" under \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\katamaridamacy seems like an interesting key... Maybe if I change it to something other than 3...

This thread is the perfect reason the PC "master race" doesn't deserve Bloodborne despite crying and begging for years.
