I also noticed that my natural refex for fullscreen (Alt+ENTER) causes steam to enabled a controller setting that switches the controller off and causes the game only use awkward keyboard control.
It's a port of a 2004 PS2 game and the only Katamari game ever on PC.
Is it a good port? Not some aspects... this is one of the ways it falls short.
It's not perfect but if they make the sequels I would pick them up. There are 14 katamari games but only 3 that can be ported to PC (I think? the rest are all mobile apps and gimmicky spin-offs (no pun intended)
I hope we get:
We Love Katamari (2005)
Katamari Forever (2009)
It's a shame the creator went and made Wattam instead of a next gen version of Katamari.. would be really mind boggling to see on true next gen engine and hardware. It's too bad some indie dev hasn't taken a shot at a katamari inspired game.
Neither F11 nor Alt-Enter does anything.
Adding "-screen-fullscreen 1" to Launch Options does not work, oddly.
Adding "screen-fullscreen=1" to /boot.config is ineffective, frustratingly.
I've started editing registry values... I'll let you know when I find anything important. Though "Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806" under \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\katamaridamacy seems like an interesting key... Maybe if I change it to something other than 3...
