So how do you unlock eternal mode again?

I'm trying to unlock Star 4's eternal mode though, I'm pretty sure I've reached beyond 1m30cm. Do I need to finish the game or is achieving the shooting star necessary?

Gotta beat the game, then if you met the size requirements eternal mode will be unlocked.

Gotta beat the game, and get to a specific size. You know when you reached eternal mode, when the cherubs/angels is rotating your ball of stuff.

Eternal 1 - Build up the ball past 1m30cm in Make a Star 4
Eternal 2 - Build up the ball past 25m in Make a Star 8
Eternal 3 - Build up the ball past 800m in Make the Moon

After beating the game first of course.

Not sure, I never managed to get this game back in the day.

Edit: Just tested it and it works. Unlocked Eternal 1.

Oh so that's what the angels mean.

Only played the Katamari game from the PSP and I was assuming that you can play an eternal early on haha

so I unlocked eternal mode but how do I actually play it? I clicked on it and I still had a timer.

If you unlock one of the eternal levels it will have the text "Eternal 1" (or 2 or 3 depending) hovering permanently above the level. Then when you click it it will give the option of playing either normal or eternal mode. If none of that is happening you haven't unlocked an Eternal Mode on the level.

Did you beat the game first before attempting to unlock Eternal mode? You need to beat the game first. Then do the above.
