Your ignorance does not = getting ripped off. They didn't advetize this as a collection and its called "Katamari Damacy Reroll". Only the first game is called "Damacy". every other game has a different title. Im shocked that this wasnt abundandly clear to anyone even remotely familiar with the franchise.

What are you talking about? They didnt go back on any content. The PS3 "Katamari Forever" if thats what youre reffering to is a DIFFERENT GAME.

This is literally the original game with an updated engine and graphics. No content has been stripped from the original game. It's a re-release of the original Katamari Damacy, as advertised.

PS3 version? There never was a PS3 version, unless you're talking about the fith installment to the series, Katamari Forever, which is a different game which has not been remastered yet.

What are you even talking about? What full game? Katamari Forever? It's a seperate game with its own plot, it has its own levels, its own mechanics. It's not a remake of the first game, it rips a crap ton of levels from the old games but it's not a remake of Damacy. Forever is a tribute yes, but it's not the game they are remastering. It makes no sense to remaster the 5th game in an installment before all the other ones.

It's a remaster of the first game, with the same content, as advertised. Not sure what you're going on about other than sounding entitled.

This is the first game only, remastered. This is the content the first game had. You expected it to have the content of a leter game. The games, despite being very similar to one another, and some featuring some of the previous games' levels, were just the same game over and over with additional content, so you assuming a remaster of the first one to have any of the content from later ones isn't exactly a reasonable expectation.

I'll agree that it'd be nice if they made it more clear that it was only the first game, but it IS called "Katamari DAMACY Reroll" Only the first game had "Damacy" in the title (at least in the West. Idk about the other Japanese titles), with "Katamari" essentially going on to be the defining word for the series.

Katamari Forever was called "Katamari Damacy Tribute" in Japan, but every game in the series had "Damacy" in the title in Japan. I am not sure exactly where your confusion is coming from, but to my knowledge this was never marketed as anything other than a remaster of the original PS2 game, which was also the only game in the series that was called "Damacy" in the west.

Why do they need to say that it's not Katamari Forever? It's not titled that in the first place and it's clearly advertised as a remaster of the first game.

And you wanted something and didn't get it, boohoo. We're lucky we're even getting Katamari on the PC in the first place, they may not even do more installments if it's not profitable enough.
