Sadly, I think that it might be dead. Servers seem pretty empty as of late, sometimes in the single digits in numbers depending on the time you play. The developer's forum site seems to be inactive at the moment as well. It's a shame, this game had potential.

Im not really sure what you are seeing, but most nights theres 10 or so people online, which is on par for average for this game. The Brasilians are hosting their own league right now too and their servers are constantly popping. This is far far from a dead game. Piboso just takes a long time to push updates to the game.

It also helps to be a member of the unofficial discord for gp bikes, if youre not already.

Yeah there is almost no content without mods.

When only 10 people MAX (on a good day) are playing this game at a time...
It's a DEAD F*CKING GAME.

The reasons are simple :

1. PiBoSo doesn't seem to work on or update this game (or any of his games).
A single small ass update every year/few years apart.

2. There is NO AI, or "content" in the game (See reason #1).
You can't enjoy a game if it has no content to enjoy.
Then you can't enjoy the limited content it does have because nobody plays it.

3. There are tons of Mods to fill in the content gaps, but when you do get all of the mods like myself (60+ GB no joke) STILL nobody is playing the damn game.

PiBoSo needs to hire some people ASAP.
10 years of development = basically ZERO progress to show.

This and his other games will NEVER be completed at this rate.
It's the worst case of "Early Access" you can possibly imagine.

The stagnant development is killing what could be the best bike sims on the market.

Luckily MX Bikes is ALWAYS active 24/7 and filled with people.
I just wish GP Bikes would get the same love from PiBoSo :steamfacepalm:

NOTE : I've been on/off playing/following MX and GP bikes since 2014 or whenever VR was added (I had an Oculus DK2 back then lol).
I recently purchased the STEAM versions because they auto-update.
