Do you need to collect all clovers to finish the game?

Iam now on the Surprise attack levelthe second level in the yeti world) and i have 28 clovers. The game has 117 so iam wondering will i need to replay many times all levels in order to collect them all or dosent it require all that much in order to unlock the rest levels?

No, you don't need all clovers to complete the game, but you need a minimum amount of clovers to unlock the entrances to the various levels. The amount of clovers you need to unlock them should be marked with a number above the entrance, if I recall correctly.

You can always go back to other worlds and replay the levels to complete them or improve them (you have 4 achievements for each level of each world) and replaying the easier ones you may get more lives to tackle the hardest ones.

Just finished it yesterday, I think you need 72 or thereabouts -- I didn't have any trouble reaching that naturally as I progressed toward the end -- I think I had somewhere in the high 80s by the time I completed all levels and made it to the last boss. Just do all the extra puzzle levels that come along and you'll be fine.

No, you only need enough to open every door until the final boss, I believe it requires 72 clovers. Also note that the total of 117 clovers is only achievable by getting the DLC and completing it.
