4:3 aspect ratio support? Unlocked framerate support?

There are two ways of how I enjoy retro pixelart sidescrolling games:

- playing in 4:3 aspect ratio (not letterboxed) on my old CRT

or

- playing on modern HD display w/ high framerate (120/144FPS) & equal high refresh rate to counter todays display motion blur issue that is present in all modern flat HD displays.

Does the game support one of those two features?


Also, is this just inspired by River City Ransom or were the devs of "The friends of Ringo Ishikawa" actually involved in the River City Ransom franchise?

Hi.

Framerate of the game is 30FPS all the time.

And aspect ratio cannot be changed and it's 16:9.

Yes, I was obviously inspired by Nekketsu, Shenmue and Persona. But will you like the game or not depends on something else, cause some Nekketsu fans are disappointed, some are happy.

The plot wasn't inspired by any manga or a game.

Can you increase at least framerate? 30fps is annoying on modern PCs to keep eyes relaxed and for better smoothness.
