Finding habitats/stations/etc
Through interactions with other ships I discovered the location of somebody missing. How am I supposed to find them? It hints that it should be at one of the stations, and that it's in ring-A, but the only way I can find stations is by stumbling across them. Sometimes I can spot the locations of other ships by looking for the flashes of their engines (nice touch, btw) when I choose my dive location, but it doesn't usually lead me to a station. It seems kinda weird that the location of stations in the rings are somehow secret and need to be discovered.

I'm having the same Issue... I'm trying to find SRA-01 in Ring A, it's supposed to be one of the Obonto stations but Idk where to look, I found some other station but it told me that they lost contact a while ago and it must've crashed into Saturn by now.

The in-universe reason why the habitats don't broadcast their exact location is that the one that did went dark for some reason.

I've found 3 other stations and none of them have had anything to say except for which mineral they're trading for. I've spent maybe 8 hours on this playthrough and the only POIs I've found are 3 stations that don't say anything, and one moonlet. I have my ship tricked out with most of the high-end equipment and my crew keeps pestering me to go "pick up" the missing person, as though I should already know its location. All the other craft I encounter have only a single dialog option about the missing ship. Do I just need to drift through space until I bump into things? I feel like the story needs a bit more direction, or something.
Koder, that's fine for an in-universe reason, but there's a big spectrum between "it's right here at this dot on the map" and "it's somewhere in the (roughly) 10,000,000,000km² area of Saturn's A ring". (Yes, I know the in-game area is only a tiny sliver of that). There's a whole station of miners where the crew spends most of its time. Maybe somebody on the station is willing to trade or sell some sort of hint as to what area I might look in?

Now I wonder, did something went wrong with the quest, or you just didn't encounter the right circumstance yet.

Did you get a second tightbeam?
I only ever got the first Tightbeam.

I honestly can't remember if I received a second tightbeam. If I had, would it have created a new POI on the map?

Yeah, I' having the same issue, how I'm suppose to find this things other than by luck? What are the right places to look? the rings are quite big and directions I get aren't exactly helpful. So far I try to look in clusters on the rings but I havent found any stations yet, only a few caves

I'll double-check the questline. What would really help is if you could zip your game data directory (AppData\Roaming\dV) and send it over to support@kodera.pl with a brief description - I can check then what exactly goes on in your save.

I got the second message saying the person of interest left the station and is now on board a certain ship. Then a security vessel informed that the ship had a bounty, which I paid to keep it safe. I keep looking for the ship, but letting the encounter to chance is a bit frustrating.

Edited:
Some dives after, I encountered a "salvage ship" doing a rescue operation on a ship. The crew member that gave the quest said "that's the ship we are looking for". He/she boarded it, found the missing person, and returned to station with the ship, that is now in my ship roster.
